The aim of the project was to preserve the existing structure as much as possible, leading to the establishment of this unique café in Tehran, situated within the former pool area of the building.
Didar Cafe, Winner of the Red-dot Award in 2020
Named "Didar," meaning "visit" in Persian, it conveys the aspiration to provide visitors with a close connection to nature. This concept is elegantly manifested through the café's design, as it is entirely encased in glass, seamlessly blending the interior with the exterior and integrating the surrounding environment into the overall aesthetic.
Red-dot award 2020 was bestowed upon the Didar Cafe Photography Project as one of the most significant international accolades in the field of design, in recognition of its successful coordination of design and photography.
